We endeavour to provide a safe, fun and enjoyable hockey experience within our league. In keeping with the “Beer League” mentality, we want players to keep in mind that everyone is going to work the next day. This is not a league for serious hockey players. We expect players to come to play the game with emphasis on a fun, competitive experience. Any players looking to play a more meaningful game where wins and losses truly matter should consider playing elsewhere. Below is a guideline of what is expected of players playing in this league. Any player not abiding by this philosophy will be asked to leave without reimbursement of league fees.

This is a Gentleman's league, and all registrant's are expected to act accordingly. Our aim is to have 6 evenly balanced teams, with changes to every team's roster every year. We understand that some individuals would prefer to play with particular others, but that may not be the case from year to year. The League Executive is committed to this approach of turning rosters over, so over the course of time, you may not be on the same team as a preferred individual. In the meantime, you can play against them, and see them at the bar after your games are over every Thursday night. We feel that this approach will allow for a better playing experience than other leagues in the city – where the sense of camaraderie may be higher, but the respect for opposing players is widely varied.
